I remember this story... it came up on imgur. The older sister posted the story, providing pictures of the father's filthy house and of the younger brother struggling to care for his disabled brother. She made said her dad had given up and stopped maintaining his life (and his kids') and that she'd been begging him to take her brother to the hospital for ages.

Yeah, I read that as well. Heartbreaking, utterly disgusting, and people need to get run over the coals for this. They failed this child, that CLEARLY needed help and the only person actively trying to help him was prevented by law from acting.

Oh wow I saw this on imgur months ago! So happy they're finally getting the attention the deserve, even if it is after Quinten's passing.

Oh God. That link to her statement. I'm disabled now but before that I was an elementary school teacher for kids like Quinten. I can't stop crying.
