I admit that I don't and never have had a Twitter account, but ... Don't verified accounts of public figures have check marks next to their names so people know it's official, or am I off base?

This just seems so bad it's like a caricature of an evil politician.

I thought of that and asked Google if it was his real account. Nothing came up about it being fake and it isn't the first time he's said something inflammatory so you'd think he would have denounced it by now.
