On Thursday, Mr Barilla issued a statement to apologise, explaining that he was trying to say "simply that the woman plays a central role in a family".
Apparently only straight women in traditional family homemaker roles can stir Barilla's pasta. Men, regardless of preference or marital status, can not.

I don't think it will. Chick-fil-A is more of a cultural thing in the South, especially in GA where it was founded and things are named after S. Truett Cathy.
