The defense lawyer who opened the George Zimmerman murder trial with a knock-knock joke has found himself in a sticky situation Friday after apparently taking a “selfie” photo earlier in the week, with his daughters Rachel and Molly West, that was later posted to Instagram

I'd like to think that Molly West's comments on Instagram and the attention they have attracted to her total lack of a) discretion and b) good old common sense would have some impact on her professional life like the rest of us, but alas, she and her sister are rich, privileged white girls.

This doesn't seem to include the pictures that she posted from inside the courtroom during proceedings. The ice cream picture is hella stupid, but the pictures of the proceedings is at best unethical. Somewhere else I saw that all of this was a deliberate strategy to get a mistrial and more time to prepare since they couldn't postpone this one.
