Almost every single comment in support of the officer comes from a member of Pro-BSL organization Dogsbite (dot) org. They are well-known in the advocacy world for spamming articles with the word "pit bull" in it, and praising any police brutality or private citizen cruelty against "the undogs" or "killer mutants". They are essentially the Westboro of dog advocacy.

And it's a PUPPY. Puppies charge you because they WANT to play with you. And even if for some reason you thought that baby was going to hurt you, why in the name of God would you think you needed to shoot it eight times. You don't even have to put eight bullets into a full grown buck to stop it from charging, what the hell would justify that with a dog? That poor boy. That poor family...
