Sorry, no. Not that I question the franchise owner's sincerity, but change has to come from the top down. Until CFA stops giving to organizations that actively try to disenfranchise gays (both here and abroad), I will continue to boycott their overpriced food.
The Rancho Cucamonga franchise may not be “about hate,” but many critics believe comments from Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy are blatantly anti-gay.
um....

There fixed that for you.
FFS sake MEDIA please STOP minimizing things that are spoken in plain english and have absolutely no equivocation attributes whatsoever. WHO the fuck paid for this sentence to happen in this article?

As nice as it is that this one franchise owner isn't a complete asshole, he still backed the wrong horse when choosing a fast-food company to invest in. Besides, his gesture might have been a little more meaningful if he'd chosen to donate some of his personal profits to a marriage equality or other LGBT rights organization to offset the way profits from his business will be used by the parent company to promote hate, rather than just giving out some coupons.
Well... ISTR the stuff about CFA supporting anti gay organizations only came out in the last couple years? If the franchise owner bought in before that, he may not have been aware. I agree with the rest of your comment though.
