There were indeed men there, including a "male janitor" who didn't waste time chucking buckets at a semiautomatic rifle but instead ran through the school to warn people.

But in general, a feminized setting is a setting in which helpless passivity is the norm.

Gee, maybe she should stop advocating for a gender-role standard which encourages (and sometimes enforces) "helpless passivity" as the norm in "feminized settings," and start advocating for feminism which encourages and enables courage, assertiveness, strength, and decisiveness by women.
