Last night, I lost both my Muse concert virginity and my music festival virginity.
Yeah, orgasmic is pretty much the right word and I felt like I needed a cigarette afterward.
Hopefully, some of you lovely people out there got some better pictures than I did and were probably also at the barrier, but I was happy to be alive, much less where I was

Thank you! And yes, it was pretty amazing and popped two cherries in one. ;)

awesome that you got to meet Tom! I remember when I saw Muse I got weirdly excited just to see him walking around on stage. I was like "I saw Kirky!" Everyone else was like "wat."

Hee, thanks! Tom was...totally brilliant. Just WOW. (Haha--it's even funnier when no one else gets it. :D)

Truthfully, I would've traded it and MK Ultra for New Born. But.

Where were you? I was sooo lucky with where we ended up. I couldn't see Matt too much, but I had a PRIME view of Dom. ;)
I was kind of sad...Weeded went over, so the boys started late. And, apparently they finished at about 10:30 instead of playing until 11:00. BUT I was there, I made it, and what they did do was amazing!!!
Hope you have a safe trip back!

I was back by that tent thing on matt's side. The view was bad and I was surrounded by really new/really casual muse fans. There was like, absolutely nobresction whatsoever to citizen erased or plug in baby. It was a strange situation.
But inwas actually more interested in new Orleans than in muse, so i had an amazing time. I even did a twitpic recreation of dom's picture where he's pointing at the muse sign. :)
Thanks very much. We had to leave our hotel at 3 am to get to this point and I won't get back to Philly until after 2. I'm so exhausted!

Hey, I was back there! Second row up from the sound tent, draped over the barrier that was the walkway the stage to the tent. A few of the people around me actually knew their stuff, I was proud. But NO ONE knew Tom!
Oh, New Orleans. I'm fairly local and don't really care for it, anyway. And then I had all that trouble...it's probably safe to say I won't be returning any time soon! What'd you think of the city, though?
Man, that IS a long day! Maybe you'll be able to get some rest in between. :)
