This whole 'search for Emrys' idea makes me think that there are other parties looking for him beyond Morgana and Morgause. Perhaps the Druids are looking for him, and if it's revealed that the sisters are looking for him, then Arthur may also think that he has to find the man first, if only to keep Morgana and Morgause from hooking onto him. If that's true, then this might also be a way to help Arthur's view on magic evolve further. At first he's looking for Emrys just to keep him away from joining up with the sisters (even though we, as viewers, know that would never happen, Arthur certainly doesn't), but if he actually finds him (I think this is where the return of Dragoon the Great comes in) and gets to start talking to him, Arthur may finally see once and for all that magic isn't inherently good or evil, it's what you do with it.
"The net is closing in on him."This is really what makes me think that there are multiple parties looking for Emrys. To me, a net would mean more than Arthur, Morgana, and Morgause. Druids are a

Gwen going off with Lancelot is a huge part of the story tho. i'm not sure if they'll sort of gloss over it. and if they do, i'm not sure how it would work tbh. makes me kind of nervous that they're saying it's not going to be a big part of the show.
Sounds like Old!Merlin is going to show up randomly tell Arthur his secret and be his adviser then disappear so Young!Merlin reappear without anyone knowing his secret. :/
Sounds like more black and white stories concerning Ar/Gw/La and Morgana. I'm disappointed, sure Capps says the series is going to be better but didn't they say that about series 2 and series 3 yet they were both worse than season 1? New cameras are not going to help them write better scripts so I don't understand the need to mention it in every single interview. Oh well at least there is going to be more Morgana! :D
lol awww i love that they mentioned Game of Thrones. altho....two different ends of the spectrum with these shows....Merlin doesn't have quite as much incest, not really much sex, and not as much violence either.
i can't see them bringing Emrys out as "another personality that possesses Merlin" or what have you. i just don't see it. but i CAN see that anytime Merlin becomes BAMF he's all "and this is Emry's you're speaking to bitch, bow down!" lol
SOMEONE has to know about Merlin. i mean besides Gaius and Lancelot. Morgause might have figured it out, it would be interesting. and i keep thinking that Gwaine knows. espically after that "Magic and Strength" from last season.
i really like Gwen a lot but ugh not looking forward to the A/G/L triangle coming up.
