SFX MERLIN SEASON FOUR - MAJOR SPOILERS AND PICS !

- The main theme for this series is The Search For Emrys. Thank God. For a while there I thought they forgot who the main star of their show was.
- "The Search For Emrys" - "The Darkest Hour is Just Before The Dawn" - OMFG ! AWESOME !
- Merlin's identity and whether his magic will be found out is a huge part of the next series." - Again, interesting but have to wait and see how this is played out, as in are we only gonna get old Merlin and young Merlin OR, if I am hoping does come true, a third identity in Emrys. What if the fanfic idea of Emrys actually another personality and taking over Merlin's body when he wants to ne known comes true ?
- Morgana does something truly extreme in the first part of the two part opener, with the second part being how Merlin and Arthur can stop her. Makes me wonder if the pics from a while back of Merlin being weak and almost poisoned that she does something to Merlin to one get him out of the way and two, maybe heal her sister and get back at Arthur personally and in the second part Merlin has to stop her. But how can that happen if he is apparently stripped of his powers ?
- Tony is still part of the series and Uther's role is important in season four - so this may mean Uther gets a break halfway through season four yet will be back later on. Will be interesting to see what type of Uther we get back once he has collected himself and wants to be in charge again.
- Morgause wont just be licking her wounds in season four. Makes me think they will heal her scars shown in the picture in the two parter but there is some drawback, hence why the sisters are now searching for Emrys. Maybe what Morgana does to heal her sister in the two parter has a severe side effect ?
- The Knights are gonna play a big part in season four and this season is going to be more serialised than the previous ones aka more coherent storytelling and threads. This makes me happy IF it pans out properly and not just reserved for more A/G romantic angles. Speaking of which......
- The whole A/G/L triangle is going to be explored more in the two parter apparently, but whether as to how much makes to be seen since its a family show they probably wont make Gwen an adulteress, but then again they may surprise us by at least making it heavily implied. We know Lancelot plays a huge part in the two parter but after that is role us uncertain, but at least I am happy to hear that the writers seem to want to go down this angle more when before it looked like it was going to be strictly A/G all the way.
- If the sisters are searching for Emrys, do you think that there will be other factions looking for him as well aka the Druids, Camelot but maybe also even other Dragonlords ? And poor Merlin is caught in the middle not knowing who or what he is.
- Do you think that Morgause has long suspected that Merlin is more than he seems since season two when she magicked the chains and left him there to die by the scorpions yet seemed only mildly surprised when she heard be was alive ? Maybe she does know about the legends after all and now wants more solid proof of who or what Merlin is ?
