Well, they escaped off the island together so who's to say that years later that they didn't get together? They may not have been ~soul mates~ but they still cared about each other.

I'm not even a shipper in this fandom aside from Miles being my fandom bicycle. I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY. I DON'T EVEN GO HERE.

Jack and Kate had a chance in the real world... They failed, now... Its Kate and Sawyer's turn to try it. Just because Kate ends up with Jack in the afterlife, doesn't mean she can't have Sawyer off the island.

I liked that too. So I don't think their relationship was completely ignored in the finale.
