I sort of skimmed this but I don't like the author's writing style. Too overdramatic, lol.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It's basically saying Lost is one of a kind because it's a smarter show, and they were looking at the long arc and not just a week to week type deal.

Yeah, I mean, we all know Lost is awesome, but this article is all "MOST EPIC DRAMA OF OUR TIMES, NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER OCCURED AND WILL NEVER OCCUR AGAIN"

Well it's not really the writer's fault. That's kind of what you have to do with any article your'e writing about anything. Point is to make it feel super important. For all we know the writer doesn't even watch Lost.

I know we've all been feeling kinda bad about recent episodes and stuff, but interviews like these always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. YAY LOST

LOST is really special, it'll be interesting to see if it has lasting effects on TV after it's gone, and there will ever be a TV show that could realistically compare. I sure hope so, because my relationship to TV will be different after LOST ends.

Love this article. After an off week it's easy to forget all of the things that make this show beautiful, so it's good to be reminded. Even if people aren't completely satisfied with the end, it's true that it'll leave this big legacy behind as the first show to ever really have that intense relationship with the internet. We're living proof six years later that that methodology is still going strong.

MISS YOU ALREADY, LOST.

One element did get changed in the process: In the original plan, reluctant hero Jack (Matthew Fox) dies. "The only giant thing that I ever said, 'You just can't do this,' was, 'You can't kill Jack in the pilot,' " says McPherson, who put the show on the air.

*Fist-shake of impotent rage*

I am unhappy with this season but overall I still love the show and it really has been an amazing and unique experience. ;_;
