And a very lovely copy/paste job it is indeed! I'm glad its on both communities because it'll be interesting to see how different the comments will be :)
Their ranting about the Magical Quill is obnoxious. I'm in the States, and I never would have just assumed that "midnight" would mean my time zone. I was also a Day 3 person, who doesn't follow Pottermore on Twitter or whereever. I had the same issues with finding the Magical Quill, but you know, there is this thing called GOOGLE where everybody looking for it at the time was saying they couldn't find it. Nobody was at a freaking disadvantage.
IA. I mean, it was annoying that we didn't know exactly when things would open Day 1, since the site remained the exact same passed midnight, and info about the challenge (not the clue itself, just info) went up in the middle of the night in the UK, but there's not reason to assume it would be midnight everywhere. How ridiculous.
If I were working behind the scenes at Pottermore, I'd make sure this person got their email LAST. I do acknowledge that some things could have been handled better, particularly with sending out the emails now, but seriously, the author just sounds like a whiny git. I bet once they get logged in, we'll get a follow up with everything else they thing is wrong with the system.
