I predicted that I wouldn't cry, and I shed not one tear. I was either celebrating Mercedes and her freedom, or seething over stupid shit like having Kurt dedicate his song the BOYS (really? the only one who may have deserved it was Sam since he's the only one who never bullied him) and Artie dedicating the juniors' song to FINN (really? Just really?). None of the songs really made me feel anything. I didn't feel some huge emotional payoff.

The BTS videos they will probably release, may make me tear up, only because this class is flawless. But so far, not one single tear has formed, much less been shed, for S3.

I cried angry tears in between the seething. I'm mad Mercedes didn't even get a voiceover, and her future was basically boiled down in an Update Y'All. But plus side, she probably wont' be back next season so Amber is FREEEEEEE!

I'm fretting about the BTS stuff, and I know I can't watch around people b/c I will be a mess.

Oh, I didn't appreciate how dirty they did her in her last episode, but I'm guessing it's her punishment for saying she wasn't interested in returning full time. I only expect her to pop up once or twice next season. Amber's album is going to be coming out in the fall, she's going to be too busy promoting it to go record other peoples' songs for Glee and then go and film.

I knew she looked entirely too joyful in those behind the scenes things to be coming back. Especially that graduation pic she tweeted. Amber hardly EVER tweets about the show, especially not something like that, so that's how you know she was excited. LOL

Just in case you missed them, Dr She Bloggo also eventually got got her Props and Nationals reviews up; haven't bothered embedding them in last week's post (just linked) because the html hates me, and that will probably get repeated this week when her Goodbye review gets posted. Cool? Cool.

I feel like the fandom and the reviewers watched different shows.

That's usually the case, but particularly this week.

The moment when Kurt opens his letter from NYADA and finds he hasn’t been accepted is as good a gut-punch as I can think of for this series. We’ve been led to think that Kurt will be right there, beside his friend, making their way through the mean streets of New York. But he won’t be. Oh, sure, he might move there at some point. (In fact, I suspect he will.) But he’ll always be one step behind Rachel, and that might breed jealousy or resentment or something that wouldn’t seem possible in the Kurt we have right now. This moment of struggle is the next step in Kurt Hummel becoming the man he will be.

this is so true, ugh I hate this

:( Please go into fashion Kurt! You are not appreciated elsewhere.

Also, I hate that Kurt is expected to always have to struggle and never succeed to become the man he's meant to be. What bullshit.

Kurt will go into fashion, and completely forget that he spent his senior year obsessing over Broadway. That way he doesn't have to actually get mad at or resent Rachel since they spent all season trying to sell that "friendship" and it still falls totally flat for me.

don't get me wrong, I want Fashion!Kurt more than anything (that has ALWAYS been his biggest passion, this season aside) but it's either going to take another whole season and he'll end up in New York with Blaine after all, or it'll be done Update Y'All style where the payout comes with no work. Both are lose-lose, lol.

Meanwhile, Rachel will go to NYADA and prove to be the specialest snowflake that ever snowed, and if anyone shows any sign of resentment towards her she'll come out looking the innocent victim as always. *sigh*

I hate this show and I really want to be free of it.

yeah the flashbacks were probably the best part of the episode, especially the first scene
