Glad to hear you're safe! Some of the pictures from around the England match looked scary.

I can truly say though, Russia can take that World Cup 2018 and stuff it where the sun doesn't shine. I can't see myself trying to go there now.

He IS reporting, not joining the action. Maybe he wasn't disapproving enough to suit some.

It looks to me like these Russian hooligans are being encouraged - and possibly financed? - by the powers that be in Russia.

Oh no, I didn't mean it like that - I'm just majorly impressed by how calm he is, while people around him are fighting whom I at least wouldn't trust not to assault a reporter. I'm sure that's why so many people shared it.

I missed all the matches yesterday. And I'll miss Spain-Czech Republic because chrysa and I are touring the Emirates.

But I had concerns about the policing before, during and after to be fair. I ended up having to walk home after the match because rumour has it someone got thrown on the rails in the Metro O.o

The match itself was quite good, although the result was disappointing.
