So MANY Dortmund v Liverpool thoughtsjesscpApril 8 2016, 12:13:48 UTC
Ugh I was thinking about the game loads last night.. Sis I would ignore the people on Reddit, they are sometimes on a par with daily mail commenters, so...! Mind you, I'm dealing with a Liverpool fan at work today who basically has confirmed that Liverpool have definitely won Europa league... Slow down there

The ref is Spanish, and I swear Spanish refs are worse than the English ones (the German ones are a bit too 'by the book' for me, and rather inflexible - based on the European matches I've seen).
I do think the Tottenham Spurs game on Sunday really got Liverpool in the right frame of mind for Dortmund, tbh. It made Klopp decide to throw Origi on instead of Sturridge or Benteke, which was a justified choice for one. I noticed that LFC weren't so sloppy in their passing this time, and at times, even slowed down the game. LFC isn't Klopp's team as yet, he's come in mid season (without the benefit of a preseason) and pretty much had a schedule on full blast since his stepped in (it's only calmed down in the last month). Considering that training under Brendan Rodgers seemed to be a bit... lax, Klopp's new regime has come as a shock, to the players, to be honest.
People forget that the majority of the Dortmund team playing now were bedded into the first team by Klopp.
Who forgot about that? That was the whole concept of the #

Just remembered something that I forgot to add in my first post - we play Schalke this weekend so yeah... Good luck with the next round of Europa league because I think Tuchel will prioritise the pride of the Derby over Europa

LFC play Stoke. Supposedly people are thinking that Klopp might field a second team, but with Liverpool and Stoke being five points off European places, I think Klopp will want to win, to be honest. People expected him to field a weak side against Spurs on Sunday for Thursday, but Klopp put out his strongest XI.
We lost Jordan Henderson, as in for both team and country. That's pretty aggragavating right now, but Hendo has had ankle, heel and now leg problems. Call his season DONE.

And Martin Schmidt, despite looking perpetually homeless, is doing very well with them. I hope they get EL this year.
