Oops Chelsea, I already had the feeling last season that it was all stretched to the limit. Everyone is a bit of the pace right now. Wonder how Mourinho will deal with it.
Liverpool need a manager of the calibre of Ancelotti, a top coach with experience but I'm afraid that's not really going to happen. The problem with Rodgers is to me that it's hard to see where his true strong points are. His tactics are questionable a lot of times, as is his man management and those are 2 massively important traits for a top manager.
And I'm delighted for Vermaelen. He's a very good defender and scores once in a while, scored 8 goals in his first season at Arsenal. The fact that he captained Ajax and Arsenal is not a coincidence. He is just very injury prone and that massively hindered his career.

That's sad, because LFC (with new owners) do have the money, and the club is the most stable it has been in a long time, even before Rafa, and I think after their experiment with Rodgers, they'll definitely go back to their initial idea of a DOF. I know Ancelotti would be a stretch, but I'd spring for a coach who even liked Europa league football at this moment, to be honest. Rodgers thinks that he's too good for Europa, and he has yet to get out of the group stages!

I do think that he's a decent academy friendly coach in the line of say, Tim Sherwood, in that Rodgers is not afraid to give youth a chance, and if there's a cock up (like Gomez did yesterday), he'll throw it ( ... )

Also, both of James' goals were so beautiful.. Especially the bicycle kick goal.. Just WOW! (I wonder if Crispy is a little jealous. hehe) I think it's time we consider renaming the Puskas award? lol kidding (but not really)

I didn't watch the Arsenal match but "off the boil" is an accurate description for how we're playing right now. There's no energy and our finishing is bad. We've had 81 shots so far this season but only 1 goal (our top scorer is Own Goal). But I hear the match was one sided, we were denied a clear penalty and Mitrovic's foul on Coq was definitely a straight red. Still, 3 points are 3 points and Petr kept a clean sheet. I won't complain.
Are West Ham going to be the new Sunderland or what? Beat all the top teams, play like shit against everyone else?
Someone fill me in on this Claudio Pizzaro and why is he waving and holding a ( ... )
