Ooh, Euro tickets. We're gonna try for the Group of 16 games in Paris. Probably going to be a long shot - not many cheap tickets, and it's got to be one of the most popular cities, but worth a shot.

ETA - ah hell, since we're not likely to get any anyway, we've gone for the semi-final on my birthday and the semi final as well. Fingers crossed we don't get everything, or we're gonna be so broke!

Good luck! Lille would be very doable for me but I start working in September so I have no idea if I would be free to go.

I'm trying for Lyon or Paris! But I'll be applying in Round 2 because I've currently registered my home address and it'll just cost extra money to have them shipped to my parents' house and then for my dad to Fedex them to me.

(German article) Khedira says that the confusion at Schalke caused him to not got there, as he was seriously considering them. He had good talks, including with di Matteo, and di Matteo's dismissal also decided things. As Juve wants to win the CL, and he wants to do that too, it's a good fit.

Apparently "fans" whistled Piqué during Spain NT's training session. Wut? Because of that comment about Ronaldo's singer???

aww @ spaniards defending a portuguese tbh. that's not something one hears everyday, lol
it was a petty & unnecessary provocation aimed more at real madrid & their fans than at ronaldo tho, so what did he expect

I do agree it was unnecessary, but the reaction seems OTT. Madridistas should at least save that for club appearances and not boo him when he's representing their country. (And in regards to Spaniards/Portuguese, I assume most don't even know who he is, haha.)

Nice to know he can speak some English, even though he still is giving his Arsenal interviews in German, which... really.

ETA: And heh, yes, that American. I bet in moral America with Klinsmann as the coach there is no cursing allowed.

So Germans communicating in basic English with Spanish speakers; Those conversations must have been interesting. Yeah we had a very smart guy in our class who was very good in maths and is a civil engineer now. But his language skills were nearly absent. French and English classes were a disaster.
