The CL/EL semifinal draws are in an hour and half so I've scheduled a viewing post. Real life beckons so I won't be able to watch the draw myself. Hopefully, Riedle will work on his magic.

Chicha to West Ham? J'approve.

But would he really step down to the level of West Ham? They're looking to get into Europa league, would he have Sallah's attitude and just embrace the experience? I think he'd be good though.

I hope so. They're a team on the up now, getting Song on loan has been good for them and a quality striker like Chicha (and Andy Carroll)/can keep them going throughout the season instead of petering out in December.

I think the owners and fans kept their expectations of the team and Big Sam a little too high after their blazing start, though.

True. Big Sam has been treated shabbily like the club though. :/'

Fans are fickle and ever changing, but the club--- oy. The fact that they are openly dissing him is really terrible. :S

Not sure. Maybe it's the injuries issue? No Robbery, half the team on the physio's table, therefore no silverware other than a league title?

Robben reckoned in the interview before the last match that he'd be fit.

"Tottenham consider sharing new £400m stadium with NFL London franchise" lol tottenham is really trying to be like glued to american markets

NFL seems to be a niche interest over here, and NFL supposedly want to have a base in Europe and have played games at Wembley, but American football can be really harsh on the field (when we played Slovenia I want to say... on the pitch after the Americans were done with it, the pitch was almost unfit for use). I guess with Tottenham, they'd probably have a pitch that's rolled out especially for that use? Idek. But Spurs seem to have a decent American following, which is one of the reasons why they couldn't say no to the MLS all star invitation and what not.

I dunno, I guess they're courting the American market since a lot of American players like Dempsey, Kasey Keller and Brad Friedel and now, Yedlin have played for them.

yeah this is true, hell i started following tottenham cause yedlin was going there lol, but bringing nfl into the equation? nah, just dont, they can hold a couple of matches like nfl has been doing and thats it. just keep the relationship football-soccer not football/soccer-american football

I am happy for the win but very sad that Pareja has damaged his cruciate ligament. :( 6/7 months they say he will be missing.

So basically the American ladies are now wearing a suspiciously Germanic kit, but with light lime socks... what?? I'm glad it's not denim or something 94-esque, but it makes no sense.
