you know you're too deep into Serie A when you don't even have to open the link to know which president said that >___>

i'm nowhere near a Guardiola fan, but it was very classy of him to wear that shirt. shame on UEFA for wanting to punish him for it; instead they should be using their power and influence to pressure brazilian authorities into giving Topo's family some much needed answers & closure.

in other news, i came to work this morning for absolutely no reason... -__-

I'm sure Guardiola expected he'd be charged, and might even welcome it - that way he ensures more publicity for the cause. And yes, typical of football associations, can't have people display messages not related to companies that pay huge sums of money for the privilege.

On a lighter note:

Giorgio Chiellini shows first symptom of Suarezitis http://t.co/dw4FYWgGJJ pic.twitter.com/TIH4IbG5SP
- Brooks Peck (@BrooksDT) 23. April 2015

And an exclusive from a sport reporter:

Exklusiv @BSchweinsteiger will bis 2018 auf "höchstem Niveau" weiter spielen. Gespräche mit @FCBayern (bis 2016) folgen zeitnah. @SPORT1
- Christian Ortlepp (@OrtivorOrt) 23. April 2015

"Schweinsteiger wants to play on the "highest level" until 2018. Talks with FC Bayern (until 2016) to follow soon."

I think he'll retire at Bayern. Can't see him go on some abroad adventure for a year or two. He must have made all the money he can possibly need, he's grown roots there, and he'd probably get the best farewell match ever.

Chiellini's defensive Hand of God was hilarious. I didn't see the game - was he carded? Did the ref even notice?

Basti to the MLS - I doubt it. He's a Bayern boy through & through. Even less likely are those Basti to United/Chelsea/City rumors.

And apparently Mats is now sick and tired of hearing about his purported move to United. Can't say I blame him. Though I'm even more tired of the continual "de Gea to Real", which has the potential to make me thoroughly miserable. :/

That's true. On the other hand; he doesn't have a family so he can go wherever he wants and if that means kicking a ball about in the sun. But his body might have given up on him by then.

When is the CL draw? jesscp April 23 2015, 08:48:01 UTC
have I missed it? I probably will end up missing it though in the land of dodgy wifi :(

I accidentally logged into tumblr and stumbled across the bayern celebrations, did they win CL already? I would love a Bayern v Barca, Real v Juve draw but you know it's gonna be Barca v Real. It just feels too obvious.

I read on the Mirror (don't judge me, it popped up on Facebook) that Marco is still being investigated for being a bad boy and driving without a licence... Even though he's paid his fines?! Not really sure what else there is to investigate seeing as he's had a driver ever since. Fml when will your favourites ever behave?!

I posted about Reus in a news post two days or so back, I'll see about finding it. They only charged him for six incidents of driving over the years where he did not have a license. There seem to have been numerous reports to police since of other incidents he's been driving, which, well, is rather obvious... I expect he must have driven nearly every day. They must investigate those too, and he might incur further punishments.

Ah, here it is.

The six cases of driving he was charged with are the five times where he was caught by a speeding camera, plus the time they checked his (non-existent) license. As he had paid the speeding tickets each time, he'd already admitted to driving, so they didn't need to go into witnesses and alibis and "are you sure it was that day" and so on.

How did he not get a red card for grabbing the ball rugby style?!

Real made me eat my words! I love it!
i regret doubting them before (tbf i was trying to be realistic because we haven't won against Atléti in 8+ matches this season) but they redeemed themselves. sergio in the midfield was amazing. he really is a dynamic player!

I also like the fact that Chicha was the only goal scorer. He needs that confidence boost. I felt like everyone was happy for him and it was heartwarming <3
Atléti may have El Niño but we have Little Pea! ;)

Que foto tan bonita. No puedo añadir nada más. Preciosa. pic.twitter.com/BrHFahCLYG

yeah, i was so happy for him & his reaction clearly showed how much it meant for him as well! really glad that CR unselfishly went for an assist there, rather than trying to score himself.

aww, that photo could have two meanings tho, because i think he pulled something with his celebration. hopefully it's nothing serious.
