so somehow the Derby di Milano managed to bring over 74 000 people to San Siro...! the match wasn't particularly memorable but both Curvas' choreographies were impressive:
Yeah, I've heard some disquiet about the place (granted, I neither speak or read German, so I might be reading a mistranslation) that yeah, since they don't know if Guardiola is going to be renewing the contract, it makes no sense to hand him all that power only for him to peace out come 2016, which make sense. It's one thing to expect him to make protocols (ala LvG )if he isn't going to stick them out, I guess.
Rumour has it that Bayern München is interested in Memphis Depay as well. I am 95% sure that Depay will join Manchester United though, as I really believe that is where he wants to go (based on him favoriting - and then removing- tweets like the one mentioned in this article http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-target-memphis-depay-5317637).
I think he has it in him to become an excellent player but I'm terrified that he might implode if he joins one of the big teams. Perhaps joining a lower placed team first to get adjusted to the Premier League would be the wisest thing to do, but oh well.
Tonight will be exciting! PSG with Zlatan should be fun to watch

I think so, in general LVG likes to give young players a chance. I'm just worried because Depay is such a big and young talent that it would break my heart if he ended up like some other talents that left the Eredivisie and flopped abroad due to various reasons... Of course there are also examples of players who adjusted just fine and have/had great careers, so I guess only time will tell.

I hear you, but I think with LvG now understanding the PL in terms of a full season, he should be better able to guide the player, I guess? But that's what preseason is for, as well. But I know what you mean.
Why would people blame Carlo? I mean, I know his rotation policies leave less chance for the other subs but in this particular scenario, he had to play Modric against Malaga because it is an important game and we can't afford to slip up in the league as well. No one anticipated that he would get injured. It was certainly a bad timing.
Also, there's no use in looking for a scapegoat now. We just have to make do with who is available.
RE: Who would they get if they sacked Ancelotti though?untxiApril 21 2015, 11:57:44 UTC
Zidane, as rumored in the press? Klopp? Löw? i have no idea. but i'd be willing to bet good money that if RM gets eliminated tonight AND ends up losing the league, Carletto will not stay another year.

I don't think so. If Le Coq gets injured, it'll be pretty disastrous. Hopefully, we'll get Schneiderlin and rotate him and Coq.
Stefan Effenberg (:/) thinks that Bayern shouldn't give Pep too much power. Hmmm. I'm still holding out for a lovely surprise from Porto today.

i totally agree, but that's Real's m.o.; they're probably paving his road out.

I'm quite excited to have him back next season, despite, as the article mentions, him not being 'a Simeone player'.
