Good lord, that Barca-Atleti match was INSANE. I gave up sleep for it and didn't regret it one bit. Arda Turan should be banned for that nonsense. Throwing a shoe at ref is just appalling. And he's one of the calmer Atletico players (unlike a certain Raul Garcia)!

Because I'm me and I love the Germans, can I just say that ter Stegen (the Barca GK) was really good yesterday? That first goal was Masche's and PK's fault and that penalty was just spot on but he made a fab save and I feel so proud of him. He even assisted Neymar for a shot which was saved by Oblak, another great young talent. (I wonder how it's going to be when Neuer retires though, because it's gonna be a real battle for the #1 between him, Hannover's Zieler aka Rorozi and Leverkusen's Bernd Leno).

Wow, Eriksen really saved the Spurs' asses, huh? He's just brilliant. And ms_geekette, I'm on Eriksen Airplane Arms Watch and he did it again! The papers have already started with the rumors about Real Madrid coming in for a triple swoop for him, Kane and Lloris in the summer ( ... )

The Spurs and Atletico Madrid match were on at overlapping times, and then I had to meet up with a guy on Skype to practice my Spanish, so boo. I'm going to have to find a replay/download of that match and watch it. If anyone has a link to said Atletico Madrid match, PM me ( ... )

Here you go:

You can start and pause and let it load and there's Spanish commentary too!

And Real operates on the policy of 'you can never have too many midfielders' so I won't be surprised if Perez has already called up Daniel Levy.

I look forward to France at Euro 2016. I've even entered my interest for tickets- and this is from someone who had such a rough time in France, and swore that I'd never set foot in the country again.

Just wanted to say that I've registered too! If everything goes according to plan for me, we could be seeing each other next June :)

You should watch the first half and a little bit of the second half. It was really entertaining!

I saw that article about Chatham Town. That's just crazy.

poor Chatham Town. They aren't even in the league!! So strange that they were targeted of all the clubs near me they are probably one of the smallest and lesser known!

Can you guess which picture I am referring to in my subject line?! For all the money he has and for all the improvement I thought he had made... No Marco still can't dress for shit. Jesus Christ what even is that outfit it's truly dreadful. I bet If Marco was a girl, he would have matched his eyeshadow to his trousers... Eek. Also, Dortmund is colder than where I'm from, is he not dying of pneumonia yet?! Bless that Dortmund arranged chauffeurs for the non drivers (I'm assuming Ramos can't drive ( ... )

For some reason or another I don't think that that's the point. Targetting a smaller club might hit closer to home too if you want to instill fear in people.

i get your point... But if I wanted to Instill fear in others, I would have picked a bigger club. There's a couple of league sides around this area too, which I think probably get more hits to their website, more fans etc..

All this has really done is raise the profile of the club. It hasn't really done what I assume the extremists wanted it to do.

Ah well, who knows by now what they want to do. Maybe the terrorist who did this is a hater of the club?

Atletico, what are you doing. It's not because you have less financial means that you are free to misbehave like this. The players are too good for that kind of behaviour. Especially the shoe throwing should get a long ban. You don't throw things and especially not at refs.

Spurs, lol their strategy of scoring late might come back to bite them in the arse sooner rather than later but for now, congrats.

I read the story about the Man Utd tickets thing and wtf? 50 pounds?? And then they are proud that their stadium is full compared to City, it might as well when you keep your fans hostage.
