Oh praise! I wonder what Ozil's future with Arsenal will be. Do you think he'll stay?

I think he'll stay for a few years. He gets playing time when he's not injured and when everybody criticized him for being anonymous, Grandpère has defended him. Plus, we paid a lot of money for him, we're not Real Madrid XD

It's so nice that Grandpere backs and supports him, but I wish he would be more consistent about it. I know Gervinho complained about the same thing Poldi has mentioned (lbr, Poldi is too much of a class act to really criticize Wenger fully in a way that would hurt Arsenal fans)

I think Ozil will stay provided we can really challenge for the title and continue to play UCL football, and as long as Wenger is manager since he's clearly the pet project. But the problem really is that Wenger might be going out, isn't it?

Also, Ramos is going around saying that he really likes the Premier League. And the papers have picked up on it by claiming that he wants to move to England.

(Okay, he's really pissed about the refereeing in the CdR match and thinks that PL referees would not have given a penalty. Whatever Horse-Face, that was a blatant foul. And people in the PL have been sent off for much less than that. Honestly, he should just join Mou at Chelsea. Then the two of them can complain together about the various referees, instead of sitting in different countries and poking at each other.

My irritation is a little strong at this one, lmao.)

Edit: Australia is up 3-1 against Kuwait at the Asian Cup, woohoo!

ha, like Messi, Ramos would never move! jazzypom January 9 2015, 10:27:52 UTC
They have it too good in their respective teams.

LOL, they're more alike than different, those two. I think if Mou had made it in the game, before management, he'd have been as pissy a player as Ramos can be.

Why am I arguing with myself in the tags? I hope no one reads this. OP is in meltdown and fretfull
LMAO, I did read it. It's bound to get better sooner or later!

Lampard's deal gets more and more confusing. Why did he claim he signed for NYC then? IDGI.

I don't get why Mou was charged, players and managers often criticize the refs. Oh well, looking forward to his reaction, lol. I just hope he won't get banned.

I actually really like the alleged new Barcelona kits (beautiful IMO), but a kit without stripes doesn't seem very Barcelona-like.

Anyway, here are two articles that I found interesting:
- Luis Enrique and his poor relationships with star players (compares the Messi situation to the beef between Luis Enrique and Totti)
- Is Ballon d'Or too political? (I'm avoiding Ballon d'Or and Messi vs Ronaldo debate like plague, but this article talks about the political aspect of the voting and what improvements could be made)

Mourinho was charged for what he said jazzypom January 9 2015, 10:35:41 UTC
About the entire referring organisation having an agenda against Chelsea. You don't do that because it puts the game (and the refs choices no matter how strange) into disrepute. Also, it's one of these things were, if the FA didn't draw a line, other coaches would speak up, and then there would be chaos with players/coaches not even entertaining their decisions. It's one thing if a fellow referee says it (like one has), and following that game, or any game where the referee makes a howler, they're busted down to League 1 or lower teams to referee.

tl;dr, Mourinho's comments are incitement. The FA don't play.

Yeah, the stripes are what Barcelona is to me. I think I might have to buy this years strip if it goes on sale. It's been one of the more attractive ones in years.

Enrique got found out, tbh. The Roma redditors were warning the Barca redditors in a sub to brace themselves.

I thought he said there was a media campaign against Chelsea, not from the refs?

Regarding Luis Enrique, a manager has to be likable, IMO. Of course a good relationship between the manager and the players isn't enough, but it helps. Simeone, for example (I know, I know, I'm crushing too hard on him, lol), demands hard work, but he cares about the players. Everyone likes Ancelotti. I bet even Mou deep down (behind closed doors, ha) is nice to the players (at least with the current team that he likes). I don't like ''totalitarian''/cold managers, to be honest. You can't be a tutor (which a coach should be, IMO) if you're not approachable. It's why I don't see/want Xavi as a manager, he just seems too cold to me.

Good article on that Evans character. It's probably obvious, but I'd strongly advise not reading the comments on that article. Apparently, buying a pizza for a man means that you consent to sex with however many men decide to get involved.

Mats to United, Mats to Arsenal...they're killing me (though I won't be mad about the Arsenal one if it comes true).

Also, did you see the articles about Arsenal wanting Gündogan? I'm in two minds about that, sob.
