Alex Song wanted to come back to Arsenal but Wenger said hells no it seems Fabregas wanted to come back to Arsenal too, but Wenger said no. Wow.

I don't know if your "wow" is "I can't believe Wenger didn't want them back" or "I can't believe they had the audacity to ask to come back." XD After just seeing a fraction of the Cesc brouhaha well after the fact, that was pretty messy.

Wenger is a man who seems not to like mess. According to rumours Puma were keen for Mario Balotelli to go to Arsenal and were willing to stump up some of the transfer fees (since Puma does Arsenal's kit) and Wenger was like "No." He seems to be a man that likes his players to get stuck in and have no airs. Song... was never that! Idek exactly what went down with Fabregas but the Spanish are always ones for drama.

Nope, Wenger does not really seem to be a fan of drama at all, but appears to be a drama magnet. XD

And Mario at Arsenal....hmmm, not sure how that would've gone down.

From Jazzy's last post, it seems he is signed with Milan (Chelsea announced he was officially transferred over), but is going to Atletico for a loan. Trust me, you're not the only one confused, haha.

The Atletico thing seemed to be a fairly recent development. It's hard to tell the real stuff from the "we've made this transfer rumor up out of our butt" sometimes. At least it is for me.

I missed a lot of interesting matches yesterday!!

Nando was a great striker before all his injuries. It wouldn't surprise me if that's an explanation for his decline. Of course if they give him wrong information about his own health, that's a grave mistake both by deontology and law, at least in Belgium and that's regardless of the transfer drama.

I'm glad that De Bruyne chose to leave Chelsea for Wolfsburg. Too many players stay to try and fight for their place. If the coach doesn't really see you than you better go to a club where they really want you.

I don't get the problem either. Neymar has to score a 200 goals, win a few league titles and at least 2 CL trophies before people will consider him close to their level.

Mignolet regressed under Rodgers so it's not only his fault. He played 3 good seasons in the Premier League, so he is a good keeper. Rodgers should find a better defensive and goalkeeping coach.

Yeah. I think he is perfect for Wolsfburg and Wolfsburg is perfect for him.

You and me are one with this.

I don't know what Cesc was up to at Barca but he was never a diver at Arsenal. That said, I'm not surprised that moving to Chelsea has changed his ways.

Lol, Mou. At a time, when everyone's complaining that referees are biased toward Chelsea, he just goes and says the opposite.

Lovely interview with Alexis. I was so sad when they went out on penalties to Brazil because they deserved more. He's been excellent with us and I hope he'll be with us for a long time and not move to City like so many of our other players.

i truly hope this is the move nando needs. he's so lucky that despite his shortcomings, lots of people are still optimistic about him and they accept him with open arms. the least you gotta do is to repay them with hardwork and lots of goals!

on another note; this will make the sernando pairing even more bittersweet! la liga's true star-crossed lovers <3 lmao

It's ~nostalgia.

JK. I think they needed a striker alongside Mandzukic anyway. And I'm reading that Man City want him (Mandzukic) now but I don't think Atletico's gonna sell him.
