Hmm, maybe Wenger is just more willing to lose Poldi to a flare? (I am kidding, I hope the Gala fans behave, although that is a tall order.) Although, I hope some of the ridiculous mouthy anti-Wenger Arsenal fans are going and don't come back. Did I just say that? Yes, yes, I did. XD

NGL I totally cackled at this. Not ideal when you're in an office environment, but poor Polds :( Wenger is such a shit to him, but I hope he can prove himself tonight. Ugh the Gala fans are gonna be a nightmare tonight, it's a home game so you can imagine they will be really hyped up and dangerous :(

The anti-Wenger brigade will lose their shit fighting against Gala fans ugh, I hate all the hooliganism, like sit down and appreciate the game, stop fighting for the sake of a fight already!

Poldi has scored in the CL on one of his sub jaunts lately, so maybe it will work out for him. But really, I hate to say that I'm glad Mesut is injured and won't be going. The Gala fans were after him with the flares the last time they played. :-/

Honestly, the anti-Wenger Arsenal fans and flaretastic Gala fans sorta deserve each other. I hope it doesn't end up like a La Liga situation (don't want to see anyone die or get seriously injured), but their complaining I don't get. This has been going on for years, you'd think they'd get tired after a while. There are better things to do with your life/time than going into rages over something like football. But sports fans, they are crazy.

Can Man City throw some of their money at me? It's Christmas after all.

lololol John Green. Mediocre author but i like that he's sponsoring AFC Wimbledon (even if it means their weird slogans are all over their kit and stadium). His crisis about them playing vs his team is hilarious

I was going to say "is there another famous john green or is this the asshole who write FINOS" (ugh he's... whatever.)

I'm surprised he's into LFC but then again, I'm an American from a city with a bunch of major / successful sports teams and all I want to do is watch football XD

ha yeah.. i used to watch the vlogbrothers back in like 09/10 when that book had not been written yet.. i think he's been a LFC fan since he was in college or so i'm assuming since the 90's or so.. i think Liverpool were quite good back then? :P

American football/baseball etc. seem a lot more confusing to get into than football :D

That Man City Youth Academy sure looks nice. At least they're putting all their money to good use lol.

So tired about the whole Messi vs Ronaldo thing. Tumblr treats Ronaldo like a god and twitter treats Messi like a saint. We all know they're both amazing, do not need to see their mugs everytime I'm on social media. Especially since I think Ronaldo looks like roasted chicken and Messi looks like a garden gnome (and it has nothing to do with his height). Is the over-exposure making me seem bitter? Maybe.

The rumor mill here is strong on Lucas Silva, a defensive midfielder from HELL Cruzeiro going to Madrid during the winter transfer window, and dude was already looking the part yesterday:

Say the word, comm, and you'll never see their mugs in any of the posts I do again! But yeah, overexposure is ruining them for me. And their fans, too.

I thought Real Madrid wasn't looking to add any more players to their roster? Well shit the bed, Silvia. Good luck in seeing first team action in a Real shirt like... ever unless you're bringing the golden boot home next worldcup. I know Liverpool hankered after him but we're not a destination club *sniffle*

Yeah, my stomach is in knots over Liverpool tonight. I just want to stop hating everything after I finish watching us play. :(

Cheers for the post shout out.

Lol no worries, I was just using your post to be bitchy. Sorry about that ;)
Srsly tho, I do find it amusing that most of the football fandom on tumblr seems to be all about Ronaldo and the people I follow on twitter seem to be all about Messi. Demographics, I guess.

SATAN Cruzeiro admitted they were contacted by Madrid, but I think they want more money. So it's far from a sure thing, even if Ancelotti did say they were looking for one more midfielder now that Sami's almost out and Modric and James are injured. The smart thing for him would be to go to a 'smaller' club and to build from there, since he's pretty young and has a long career ahead, but the poor dude's really starstruck, as they mostly are, le sigh... But if he does make it to Madrid, good luck getting a starting place in the first team, like you said! I'm ready to start liking him as soon as he leaves his current team lol (unless he goes to bayern)

Fingers crossed for Liverpool over here! We've suffered enough this season :(

They want more money? What's wrong with clubs nowadays? What happened to the bird in one hand is better than two in a bush?

For real. I know the PL clubs get shade, but dude, if you're good enough, you'll play and not have to wait for people to be felled three deep before you get a look in. But I thought Khedira whatshisface was still staying at Real?

Ugh, Liverpool! You don't choose your teams, your teams choose you and for good or ill, Liverpool and Dortmund chose me. *sigh*

Cris and Leo will retire soon. They will eventually lose their magic touch. Patience, La Liga. Just enjoy the show while it lasts.

Carlo says Hammy may be able to play for the Club World Cup final on the 20th, assuming we reach the final. So the injury is not actually that serious?

Lmao at that Christmas edit of the Spanish amigos. Poor Mata has a third ear sticking out of his forehead.
