Nooo, don't do it De GeajazzypomNovember 5 2014, 08:39:59 UTC
Unless they are coming to you with the promise of a starting XI like they did Xabi Alonso (who slotted from Liverpool into Real Madrid with alarming ease), I'd stay at Manchester United. What's the point of going to a better club - if you are not able to play? Same question to Lloris. He's getting first time action, in a solid League- why go to Real Madrid to sit down and vegetate? I guess the weather is fine, and the lure of the club is good but... players want to play, surely

Thanks!
And United might be in the 10th place in the PL now but they're Manchester fucking United. I can't imagine why de Gea would leave especially when he's the like, the best player on the team right now (apart from Dobby) and being lauded for his excellent form...it's ridiculous.
As for Illarramendi, like I said in the post, I'd prefer Khedira over him, but in some ways, he's perfect for Arsenal. He's young, needs playing time, is a solid DM (which we need) and Grandpere could develop him into a world class footballer which is what he does with young players.

IA! You get football action week in, week out. You're getting coaching and the opportunity to see what works to finesse your goalie style. Especially with van Gaal. I know that van Gaal's results are middling at the moment, but he's a coach who builds for the future, trains his players well. Bayern Munich still use the protocols that he implemented when he was there way back when. Barcelona as well. de Gea has had specific coaching by United since Alex Ferguson and is growing in stature. Why go to Real Madrid to be third in line- after Casillas and Navas? Especially since Casillas has fired a shot across the bows that he intends to stay between the sticks until he's 40? (Trust me, that was intentional)

Yeah, I can see that. And especially in Real where he gets to play alongside International Superstars like Crispy and Horse-Face and Iker compared to Arsenal where the players (the Germans not withstanding. At least Poldi and Bug Eyes.) are not as well-known. Of course, I'm just speculating; for all we know, he must be a very decent chap who'd be more than happy to get a starting spot in a top 4 PL team and play with a solid group of guys close to his age.
The same DDG that grew up wearing rojiblanco? lol okay.
According to AS, Godin is wanted by United and Koke by City, although I think that would only happen if El Cholo went to City if Pellegrini gets the sack.
I think I'd be sad if Simeone left Atletico, the way I'd be devastated when Kloppo leaves BvB. He's done so great with them and to just leave? But I can understand because there's no where else for him to go but up.
