You're welcome!

Messi was probably the only fit for his size ... and he was too busy getting the award for the best player of the tournament. Bah!

As I heard, Goetze chased after Messi for his shirt anyway :)

What a great interview, thanks for translating it!

I love that he had to change his telephone number because kids were calling his house.

And that he wants to find a job in football, because he loves it so much.

The second coming of Beckenbauer? I'd love that. Or he can take over as sporting director of Bayern and make peace with Sammer's enemies, i.e., everyone ;)

I kept it. Nobody wanted to exchange theirs with me.

Lmao. Pretty sure the whole of Germany plus millions of others would have given an arm and a leg to get his jersey.

i guess the losing team wanted to go home? jazzypom October 30 2014, 21:54:47 UTC
The Argentines looked pretty dejected. I think Messi had to be chased down to get his jersey exchanged. He looked over it.

Ugh, man. Can you imagine? the little snot faced pup who scored the winning goal and crashed dreams for Messi to give Argentina the World Cup (because I always thought that Messi wanted to get the World Cup for Argentina so that they could say that yes, he too was Argentinian) only to show up and want the shirt off your back on top of that? Mannnnn... that's why I'm not Lionel Messi.

LOL ... tbh I wouldn't mind being Lionel Messi ... like post injections and shit ... and I would have to be the first out gay top flight player because I could never give up men even if that ment being Lionel Messi ... anyway, he is more suitable for being himslef than I would ever be I guess ...

anyway, whatever, forget it ....

but yes, i can see why Goetze chasing him wasn't what he wanted at the moment LOL

All of his answers come across as very diplomatic. I like it. I can picture him saying all these things.

From his answers it's clear how classy and diplomatic he is, a true captain! And, god, I can't believe people are bringing up the Ballack thing 4 years later.

He can ship his jersey to me, it would totally fit me :P
