What does First Division have that Second Division doesn't - besides the topclass football stars, great stadiums, more class, higher budget and it not being a disgrace to play in? Not much, I tell you ( Read more... )

I kind of died at Vila's adamant decision to go against Grondona in every way possible and at Fantino and the whole gang going "oh, it was so amazing and perfectly organized". LOOOL. I love those guys.
Yes, Chichizola IS cute, we can all agree on that one, unf.
It was pretty obvious that they were going to allow away fans again, it's good that they finally did it, because the whole neutral stand was just fishy (not blaming the River fans though, god knows that if those tickets are for sale any sane fan would go ahead and buy them!).
I think the worst part of it is having to play at La Quema... but at least you'll fill the stadium! :P

We fill the Monu all the time, La Quema will be a piece of cake ;)

also, San Lorenzo? get ready to say goodbye to one of the only records you have :P we'll bring so much more people this season it's going to be insane, haha.

Poor poor La Quema, only filled by River fans and by special effects for El Secreto de Sus Ojos, loool. :P
Mmmm I'm pretty fond of the records set by Los Matadores and Pellegrini's team as well :) but in a completely unbiased fashion: will it be possible? Because I think the capacity of the stadiums isn't the same as back in the '80s, no? And they don't give enough tickets to the away fans, etc. But yeah, you definitely need to do something like we did in 82 and Racing failed to do.
When you come back, can you bring Central back up as well? I miss them.

ps: since we're talking about Huracán(?), they seriously can't be this unlucky. Did you see their match against Gimnasia de Jujuy? Not only did they lose 2-0, the Gimnasia gk stopped a penalty and it turns out he's a huuuuge San Lorenzo fan. After the match he gave an interview saying: "I always come to this stadium to see San Lorenzo win" (ouch) and then he showed his tattoo of a crow, LOL, i swear Huracán... I feel so sorry for them.

They can come back in a year, 1st and 2nd places go to primera división, third and fourth play the promoción matches against two Primera teams...

We'd have to have a good and regular season, but it's happened before, I think. Like, once. So it's possible.

Okay, this may be childish, but I can't help but giggle every time I read our next opponent's name: Desamparados. Who names a team that, ffs? xD

Yes. It was the name of the square the founders were at.

"Guillermo Brown de Puerto Madryn." I think I only really understood how bad we were when I read those were our rivals.
