i'm so glad you posted this. i was too tired tonight to work on the comic i'm currently drawing, and i just started reading livejournal communities again a few days ago and was surfing around.... your article pointed me in the direction of women in comics europe whom i have just messaged to help promote the comic and maybe help us find a female inker/colourist if i am unable to do it because of other work/lack of time. it is the first comic that my writer friend and i have ever worked on, so we're gona need all the help promoting we can get basically. so at least i've done something productive for the comic tonight! i look at this as a nice turn of luck/fate that i found your post, thank you!

Yay, glad to help - hopefully people will have lots of connections for you :D I'm actually one of the maintainers of that community too, hah.

(I prefer to think of it as the comics community being quite small - which it is - rather than me running everything! xD)
