Virginity is such a fucking stupid concept; even more so when you mark it with a physical state that doesn't even always corellate to a woman's actual sexual experience.

Penetrative sex only correlates with a broken hymen about half the time, and that's only for a certain definition for the word "broken"--tearing is more accurate.

If a girl breaks her hymen with a tampon, then that means she was born with either a small or non-existent opening in her hymen, and it was not corrected with surgery--if you have no opening in your hymen, you can't menstruate correctly.

I need to dig up this one site someone linked me once on VaginaPagina. Most people have a complete misunderstanding of what the hymen actually is. I know I did for a very long time--media, for some reason, perpetuates completely false myths about it.
