i don't think v. woolf's affair with vita should be used to argue that she was a ~heterosexual who became a ~homosexual later in life, as i don't think it appropriate to call women who are married to men but have feelings for women "married lesbians" unless they identify themselves as lesbians. why would divorcing a man and then getting into a relationship with a woman necessarily constitute "[leaving] a heterosexual marriage in favour of a lesbian identity"?

exactly. this article seems to really ignore the possibility of women being bisexual, with the exception of the last full paragraph. and even then it came down to "bisexuals deciding to redefine themselves as lesbians" which reads as "bisexuals are just confused about which side they're on" to me...

the wild lesbian, in her natural habitat, has no internal way cooling her body temperature, due to all the flannel she wears.

true story, my friends and i joked about making fake documentary like that as a way to vent our anger at straight people who analyze the fuck out of LGBT people.

For real. I really hate when people argue for gay rights/marriage because homosexuality is genetic, it's always seems like a way of saying ~they just can't help the way they are, those poor things~.

I know, I think the same things. Whenever people argue against homosexuality saying "IT'S A CHOICE" I just think "does it really matter if it is?"
