And even in that Taylor Swift song, Abigail was just super duper in love with her boyfriend and he was less in love with her than he professed. There's absolutely no need to ascribe slut-shaming into it.

Oh oops, we're talking about different TS songs. Yeah, I don't like the dichotomy presented in that song. That said though, I understand where she's coming from, because it's absolutely true that the WoW playing girls get shortshrifted in a way that the cheerleaders don't. It's always considered OK when Nice Guys (TM) whinge, but women can't pull similar crap.

Bullshit attitudes like this is exactly why I had a harder time than I needed to have in the aftermath of one of my relationships. Fuck the attitudes of Caitlin Flanagan and fuck the assumption that women are hurt by casual sex or whatever.
