male pop soloists

Jul 04, 2009 17:06

I'm bored and it's raining, so I thought I'd post some male pop solo songs, so we can talk about Where The Boys Fit In.

As you will soon realise, I am old and British, and also hate that processed sit-on-a-stool boyband sound, so this isn't exactly a full sample ;)

look how neat I am! Yay! )

kris allen is pretty, adam doesn't need anyone's permission, on the roof seeking proof, omg i'm bored, !music

LOL IRL. I just noticed that your decriptions for the videos are below them and not above. I thought this was your Bowie description: This dude has done ok for himself. It's also worth noting that his boyband origins weren't as well-known here. Wow, look at him dance! Aw.

heh.

I'm not normally into that sort of thing, but he has made some brilliant songs. "Come Undone" is really dark for a pop song.

I love come undone.

Actually there is a Duran Duran song by the same name which is completely different but also dark - well worth a listen.

My aunt brought some CDs back from Scotland in the Rock DJ days. However I heard Let Me Entertain You in a friends car one day and that's when I really started listening to his stuff.

Lol Robbie Williams. He should have stuck with Take That, they are so much better than him.

I wouldn't really call Rufus pop, but watch him anyways.

I wouldn't either. I love Rufus and I love pop, but they are not the same...

Aw. He's sort of pop cabaret but he is awesome. I loved his Judy Garland tribute.

LOL that hat.

Robbied blogged this while AI was still going on:

"Adam Lambert is my personal bestest Pop star right now… If you haven’t been watching ‘American Idol’ check him out… He’s the real deal in fact if there was a Singing Olympics and the US where sending Michael Buble and Adam Lambert I wouldn’t even try out for the UK team…"
