I love how his visceral reaction was fighting his need to remain professional. He was crawling out of his skin but had to keep it in check. I bet he called Simon (or Dunkleman) after that like "OH MY GOD IT WAS SO BAD YOU DON'T KNOW :("

I agree with Mama Allen 100%. I'm totally loving JLo and Steven Tyler as judges. I'm of the opinion that last season could have sucked less if these two had replaced Simon earlier. The show is lucky Simon turned them down this season. So are we...

Simon's being really bored + Randy's being incapable of being normal while he's there + Kara's incompetence + Ellen's general discomfort with judging = trainwreck panel of judges.

So yeah, I agree, last season could have been so much better with these judges. Those kids weren't untalented or uninteresting, the show was just determined to screw them over as much as possible.
