My friend was like 'hey read the article in Finnish !' and quoted a part. It's seriously horrible and you should never ever in your life lay your eyes on it. Seriously. Died there.

I didn't think the the accent was bad at all. I hear worse on a daily basis... and my accent when I speak Spanish is atrocious.

I wish the interviewer had done more than just read a question and let him answer then repeat with an unrelated question. At least he let Adam talk, though.

That's the good thing about the Finnish culture - we don't do small talk, so in a situation such as this the interviewee will indeed get to talk! However we can also come across as terribly rude at the same time.

I hate small talk so that sounds ideal to me, but it's not what I'm used to in interviews at all

You're right, and I noticed the lack of response to what he was saying as well. It's like being on the phone and talking on, and not knowing if the other person is even still there because they're so quiet. Super annoying, even in this culture. :P
