Being "adopted" into the house means you have no actual Monacello blood. Pretty much everyone in Monacello is adopted, due to the coup from about a year ago.
If you are openly affiliated, that means that people on the street know you're from the mafia house, and you will be treated as such.

Other Notes: Rolo was attached at the hip to Lelouch Lamperouge, one of Monacello's older Head Consigliere's. Since news of Lelouch's death reached him, he's been very out of sorts. He is an assassin of incredible skill.

OOC Contact info: Soiree was raised by a former consigliere named Fate, whom was known for very radical thinking ideals of peace between the families. Fate, due to his tenure, was forced into retirement rather than being killed, so Soiree and his brother never really knew he was in poor favor with the family.
Like most Soldati, Soiree had some enhancements made that give him strength, speed, and dexterity beyond that of a normal human. He is also able to channel body energy into his physical attacks. This has earned him the nickname "Angel of Twilight"

Other Notes: Rolo's full name is never disclosed, and "Rolo" is just one name of a set of many aliases he uses during his missions. His is currently assigned to infiltrate Monacello, and has been for the last ten months, reporting back only very, very rarely and infrequently.

Other Notes: Roxas is a clone of a young AMC soldier named Sora. He is completely unaware of the fact, and thinks that he merely lost all his memory from before he was sixteen.
He was taken in by the Vescovo house, then used in their experiments. He's now a lot stronger, but ran away from the family when everyone else he knew had left, since he had no real attachment in the first place.

Other Notes: Syaoran was kidnapped when he was eleven, and has been back for about seven months now. Pretty much everyone he knew in the family is gone now, so he hasn't been in the best of spirits lately.

Other Notes: Lionello Vescovo is the true identity of the assassin known as "Prosciutto". He is the younger cousin of Cesare and Cosimo Vescovo, and was used as a puppet along with Cosimo by Cesare in his rise to power. His bitterness has faded away for the most part, but evidence that Vescovo has been implementing Stand technology has piqued his interest ( ... )

Other Notes: Squalo and Tizziano were raised in a "soldati factory", aka a Vescovo owned orphanage that took un-adopted children and trained them to become elite soldiers. They also underwent experimentation with the Arrow that gifted them with Stands, Squalo's being the teleporting shark, Clash.
Squalo is mentally unstable and susceptible to stress related freak outs. He is also highly dependent on others, particularly Tizziano, whom has been with him since birth.
