Sue was in her lab when the alarm first sounded. The latest results of her personal bioscans had come back after the calibrations she had made to the machine. They hadn't told her much which was to be expected but still she had to go through them. Things had suddenly become much more interesting. Stripping off her lab coat her eyes fell upon the combat suit she was wearing

Forcefields. Either a defense mechanism he'd evaded the first time and slipped up and triggered the second... or the hot blonde in the blue, skin-tight outfit meant this was his lucky night. A meta. And a hot one. Finally.

Taking a step back, his hands moved to test the limits of the box surrounding him as his helmet's scanners worked to identify the forcefields and make them visible.

"I'm good at more than just stealing, cutie. I think you're underestimating me."

Why not draw it out a little? His first time, after all. Wouldn't do to pull out all the stops now and have the fun end too soon. Especially if it meant getting to see more of that tight bod.

Sue raised an eyebrow at the thief as she gave him the once over. If it wasn't for the fact that she was very cute she could be mad at him for that comment. He did get some points taken off for both cliche and the sexism of it though.

Underestimating him? A possibility but from where she stood it was unlikely. He was trapped in a forcefield which wasa about to be used to take him to a holding cell. It took a lot to break through one of her forcefields. More then it looked like he had on him.

"Making claims like that you better hope you an back them up, otherwise you and I are going to have a lot of time to talk while your locked up cowboy."

"I don't mind talking, cutie. But if it's action you want..."

In a split second he flickered out of sight, no sound giving away where he was. Instead, the crimson blast from behind her, in, interestingly enough, an X formation, told her he was behind her as it wrapped around her, binding her legs together and her arms to her torso.

"How's that for a start?"

He decided to go easy on her to start. After all, it wasn't like that was one of his goop-blasts. Preferred to save those for the guys, because screwing up a pretty girl's hair-- now that was criminal.

It happened fast, too fast for her to react. Alright so maybe she underestimated him a little. Not a mistake she was likely to make twice though. The now useless field had dissapated when the blast had hit her. He must have teleported somehow. She tried to move her arms but with little luck. What was the point of super powers though if you didn't use them.

In an instant the energy binding her was ripped apart by a forcefield that started around her and expanded outward freeing her from its hold. As she turned to face the thief that had blindsided her. Two could play at that game though.

"Impressive, but still not good enough."

Saying no more she once again became invisible. If he liked to playn the unseen game he should have picked an opponent that wasn't as good at it as she was. moving as silently as was possible she came to stand behind him and slightly to the right. Taking a moment to admire the tightly clad view she unleashed a force blast towards him.
