He'd left the masquerade shortly after talking to Rhode and changed out of his costume into something more discreet and suitable for an invitation-only affair. Muraki now wore a dark grey suit, his glasses were once again on, and his right eye hidden behind a lock of hair.

Finding the place called Somnifery had taken longer than he expected, but he still seemed to be one of the first people there. Although he had no idea what would be going on, he seemed pleased as he confirmed that he'd been invited, then took a seat.

Hijikata had no use for masquerades, or the idea of partying for the sake of charity.

Rather, he chose this event, and a quiet night.

Or so he had thought.

Regardless, he was masked, though poorly disguised, entering Somnifery to be escorted quickly and calmly to the presentation area, and ushered into a seat. He had a feeling this would be worth his while.

He had a feeling this had better be worth his while.

Mildmay was running security, of course. Prowling the edges, watching, waiting. Were someone to try to enter without a mask, they were to be turned away. That's how this bidding went, and he was doing his boss' bidding. All there was to it.

He was also standing surreptitiously near to Dane, so to watch the man in case of anything untoward. He was paid for that, too.

The Rolls Royce pulled up outside Somnifery at precisely 9:57, which meant that Cesare was perfectly on time and on schedule. Opening the door, Cesare stepped out. Though his mask wasn't currently in place, he held it in his hand as he used the other to help his date out of the car. Though it hadn't been stated on the invitation that they were allowed to have escorts-or to be escorting someone else-Somnifery was a club and the young woman could easily wait for him until his business was concluded.

Cesare's costume was as impeccable as it had been since his arrival at Signorina Sumeragi's masquerade. Taking a moment to settle his facade in place, and to fondly adjust the strings on the young woman's mask as well, he turned to look at his other companion: Dino Cavallone. "Shall we, then?"

With a folio under his arm, and dateless Dino had quietly exited the car. He hadn't thought that his date would have been welcome, so he had parted ways promising to meet at his house later for a little catch up. He had made an appearance to the masquerade and he still wore the victorian clothes he had been dressed in and the intricate mask that Umeda had brought to him.

"Yes." His head hurt, his palms were sweaty and a little nervous about the whole procedure, though it never once showed in his eyes or posture. He knew how to act around higher mafia people and he knew that even if he had been still in Vescovo, he would have been there. Being in the eye of others in such a way had been beaten into him when he was younger.

After going through the documents and also the general overview of the account. He was a little surprised, but that didn't mean he could let Cesare be careless and spend too much at the auction. That was the whole reason that Cesare had brought him, right?

She hadn't lingered at the masquerade for as long as she'd wanted to. But she had enjoyed what time she did spend there, and luckily Zack had understood. She gave herself enough time to stop by the Devil's Nest and change clothes, since she really didn't feel like showing up at a mysterious event in a fancy red dress. The mask, of course, was kept in place.

Elena still had the feeling that there had been some mistake, that she'd received the invitation in error. But she was was shown where to go when she arrived, just as she'd been told. So apparently she was expected.

Somnifery was just as impressive the second time around. Only this time she wasn't there with the other Turks. Elena was very aware that she was alone, and slightly paranoid because of it. But she had to admit, she was curious too.
