WHO: Lulu chasing_fury, Elena suits_me WHAT: Shopping (and at a store that sells clothes for girls, no less.) WHERE: Lulu's favorite place(s). WHEN: Early afternoon, Day 69
Lulu had dressed down that morning, way down, almost to the point of dressing up--for Lulu--in her jeans and a silk top--which meant not only that she was a little early, not having wasted time primping, but she actually looked almost normal for a change.
After all, if Lulu ever took a day off, this was it--and it was all about Elena today. The last thing she wanted was for Elena to be uncomfortable. Still, that didn't mean she wasn't going to try and get the girl to have a little fun being...well, a girl.
Pulling up in front of the Turks' headquarters with the top down, Lulu waved when she saw Elena waiting out from, shutting of the engine and twirling the keys. "Ready to rock and roll?"
Elena started down the steps as soon as she saw the car turn the corner. She slid into the passanger side before she noticed how dressed down Lulu really was. She wasn't used to seeing her so...well, covered up. But it looked good on her. After studying the pattern on her shirt, Elena lifted her eyes to Lulu's face and smiled.
"Always." That was the attitude Elena had adopted for most things...even when that little voice inside her head said that maybe, just maybe she should think this one through a little better.
The blonde didn't look uncomfortable yet. In fact, she seemed a bit relieved. She was used to being around her guys. She loved them, adored them. But there were just some things...
The thought trailed off there while a sigh escaped her lips. Elena blinked out of her thoughts, giving Lulu a trusting and even eager expression. "Where to?"
"Good deal," Lulu said, watching the expressions play over Elena's face. The blonde might be one tough cookie but she was still a sweet girl underneath. Lulu wondered if maybe by the end of their play-date they might not be more like friends than the rivals that Tseng had originally bargained for.
"Well," she said, putting the car in gear and pulling into traffic, "I was going to ask you if you had any shops in mind, but maybe I should just ask where your budget cuts off and surprise you. What do you think?"
"That sounds good." Elena consented with a slight shrug. "I'm looking for something to wear tonight." And she doubts anywhere that she goes would have anything appropriate. At the mention of a budget... Elena faced forward and sank down in her seat a bit. A faint smirk crossed her lips, and when she looked back over at the other woman it was with a definite glow of mischief in her eyes. "There is no budget." She confirmed before holding something up between two fingers...a checkbook. "Boss told me to use it in case of emergencies. I think this counts." Eheh.
