These Turks. They were somethin' else. They pissed him off to no end, then again, they gave out... indirect lessons. He was pleased with his own progress but was exhausted from training he had with Jin and Saint. They were all in this together right? Yeah totally.
Then again, things have not been going swimmingly. He had been voice out his opinion too much, which gave into major consequences. More training. Just fucking wonderful. As far as he knew, Reno was annoyed with him here or there but he never really talked to Elena that much, too busy with his changing. So he was surprised when he got her message to go down to the warehouse.
Jared walked inside and quirked a brow, seeing the blond Turk standing inside. "Hey, you wanted to see me?"
Elena looked up at the sound of Jared's voice and clicked the barrel of the revolver into place. "You're right on time." At least he's done something right. She should sound more pleased though, shouldn't she? She glanced over him before arching her own brow in a near mirror image of his expression. "Where's my gift? This is a date, you know." Right. "I like a nice set of handcuffs." Like the type she'd put him in before kicking him off the pier.
"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you." Elena walked over to one of the many shelves of weapons and placed the revolver there. "Does it seem like I'm treating you differently from the others?" She tilted her head at him. She got along with Nadya. She thought Saint would fit in just fine. And Jin, though she hadn't had much contact with him personally, seemed to be doing nicely. "If it does, it's because I am."
He mumbled before he took note of the wide arrange of weaponry. He was... very impressed. The high eyebrows on his head showed it all. But, he liked his jericho's, which were always at his sides, no matter what. Jared shifted the weight on his feet, watching her intently with his dark eyes.
"Do you not like me or somethin'?" Jared questioned as he tilted his head to the side. "From what I recall, I never did... nor said anything bad to you. Excluding that one time I slipped up in saying 'sir'. Just what is it that makes you wanna throw down more training on me?"
Her brown eyes flickered down to his sides before she looked back up at his face. What the hell's he trying to prove anyway. It only takes one gun to finish the job. One gun and one bullet!
"And two steady hands." She finished her thoughts aloud, just to prove the point that she really was on his case. Elena never missed a chance to remind Jared of those words that probably weren't meant to be seen. And while the 'sir' reminder made her twitch, it was obvious that this had started before that.
"You're a showoff." Elena frowned, damn-near pouted with the words. He was right to be confused though. There was more venom in her tone than was warranted. But it was all rooted in the the thought that the rookie standing in front of her might be the one giving her orders a year from now. "I bet you think that just because you can shoot two guns at once, you don't have to work with a girl like me. Well you're wrong. Rufus teamed us up, gave us both that mission. So I'll pull the trigger for you. I might even take a bullet for
