Well, I believe the Buddhist and Shinto beliefs of reincarnation and ujigami family spirits have already been mentioned.

I can't say that I subscribe to any particular religion myself--though it would be nice to believe that everything will one day be made new--I simply try to be mindful of the consequences of my actions while being present in the moment.
