Jan 06, 2008 20:21

We went to the Ded Lobster the other day and Chikara tagged along.

C: The waitress wanted to give me a booster chair and a kiddy menu!

o: So you feel special, huh, silly kitty?

Hey! Glad you enjoyed my bad cat!

I got the socks at the Austin BJD Con from CheeryDoll.

For some reason, Usagi Dagger was not interested in the carrot.

I love that you take your dolls everywhere. I don't because hubby isn't too keen to the idea. LOL! And I see Chikara has developed a taste for seafood . . . not that I can blame him. :)

I just pick up some resin and the camera and go. Luckily, rat finds it amusing.

Actually, Chikara likes FOOD, of any kind! *laughs*

Chikara is such a blast! His character just pops out and starts going non-stop.

And he's easy to carry around, too!

He's a 45cm (approx) right? Everyone keeps telling me that I need to learn the "terms" for BJDs, but after finding out that "SD" and the other terms are copywrited, I feel kinda guilty using them. Besides, as a n00b, I understand more if the cm size is given, it tells me much more than the terms.

I'm wondering if that lady could make some clothes for Tohma when I get him...?

Well, if you say something like msd-sized, you can usually get away with that without people mentioning the copyright issue. We all pretty much use both those terms and the cm height, too. Tohma is considered Dollshe-sized or Hound-sized since Dollshe was the first company to make the tall dolls. He can also be called 70cm. I am hoping an all-around term for these taller-than-typical-SD-sized dolls will be coined in the near future, especially since more companies are coming out with these dolls ( ... )

Chikara is by far one of my favorite dolls of all time. He made the list next to my friend's little guy Shin.
