Alright, so my dad had his CO2 test and, good news, there's no CO2 in his blood!

( It doesn't get much better from here... )

Dad's having a CO2 test tomorrow.

He's been getting headaches and has been really sad and tired lately.
As it turns out, in spite of his oxygen machine, he's still not getting enough oxygen and, therefore, his body isn't able to get rid of as much CO2. In short, is brain is slowly being poisoned and there's nothing we can do about it.

I had a really interesting dream the other night that I feel I need to share, but don't want to share with anyone close to me for fear of bringing up old bad feelings. I'm sure that as supportive and understanding as my friends and family are, they've done their best to put this part of my (and their) lives behind them. I'd hate to redig into that.

In spite of what my profile says, today is my birthday. I'm 26.

I never understood everyone's obsession with trying not to age; it doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like we didn't know it was going to happen and we all have to go through it. Finding a safe place to rant seems so difficult these days.
I'm assuming since the LJ community of "my time" has almost completely moved to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Blogspot, I should be pretty safe here.
