So, you wanna get together and -not- throw some highly ignitable liquids contained in hard brittle containers, that somehow have cloths tightly stuffed into the containers openings? And SOMEHOW, those said cloths are also doused in the highly flammable liquid inside of the containers? Not only this, but in a remarkably astounding fashion, these cloths are also on FIRE!!!
I can also say we Do NOT EVER -W-A-N-T- to have these devices end up in a hospital. The atrocity of a medical facility that HELPS PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE SICK, ever going to ruin because of a few carelessly thrown devices. Is just outrageous, and preposterous even!
I mean, those doctors, nurses and other medical staff, work very very hard to make this world a better healthier place.
From what I understand, if you send them a dollar a month, they can't send you to collections. It's also amusing to think about the money they would spend routing such a payment through their systems costing more than you returned.
I think it works like that if they accept the payment. If they accept a payment, even if it is less than what they are asking, they agree to the amount sent. If they don't accept a payment of less than owed (or what was previously agreed upon, because as a responsible human I am sure that you contacted the billing companies, explained your situation, and worked out a payment plan), then they can send you to collections.
The *best* way to handle these things, I've found, is to talk to humans, show that you are willing to work with them, and NOT shine them on. Usually.
Damn if only we lived in Canada!! I can't stand our health care issues in this country. It might help to here that you are TOTALLY not alone in this. My hospital bill went to collections but my credits shot anyways. I'm not going to stress about it. Of course I only owe collections like 600 bucks not thousands.....Good luck my friend.
