I'm glad you enjoyed it. It really did end up being pretty sad. I definitely think he would start getting twitchy after a while. I still couldn't believe he lasted so long at Mark's wake. Haha.

Gosh... that was so sad... and Barney and Robin, so unhealthy... but yet, so them! It's exactly something they would do to help each other out!
And I love Barney being all jumpy about his suit, an then letting Robin cry onto it! XD

I can absolutely see Barney acting like this in such a situation. Loved the twitchiness for his suit and the bittersweet tone of this piece. Letting Robin cry on his suit is a very Barneyish declaration of love.

I'm actually glad that you ended this on a sort of ambiguous note, and that rang much truer for me in the B/R sense than an ending where they're definitely together and uber happy (not that I'm not a total sap for that too, hehe)... it just worked for me. Good stuff right here!

Thank you! We;re definitely on the same page. I think that if they were placed in this situation, the ambiguity would be much more them. I think they'd be very dysfunctional in a situation like this and it just wouldn't be them for everything to be tied up in the end with a pretty bow. They've always been a bit of a question mark. I love me a good happy, sappy fic, but I agree that it would not ring true in a situation lie this one. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading :)
