Thank you, Samantha! Their banter is one of the wonders of the world. *g*

BTW, I am dying for tonight's episode. I've got this stupid smile on my face that I just can't erase.

"Aren't you going to kiss it and make it better?"

Brennan's eyes rounded in shock and she dropped his hand, sneezing twice.

-haha. That made me laugh so hard. While I was secretly hoping she did kiss it and make it better, I liked how you took this route instead. ^___^

Lovely work!

:D Glad that made you laugh, Crystal. I wish she'd kissed it too, but it wasn't the right time.

Thank you for reading and commenting!

I like it very much - probably too much - when Booth's thoughts go off on a Brennan-related tangent. And he's too much of a man to blame the body wash, so he retains responsibility for that last comment.

My favorite section (and I'm hard-pressed to choose just one, mind you) was Booth in the kitchen. He's sort of damned either way, right? He can't let himself think about Brennan in the tub - with the body wash! - but when he slams that door shut, it leaves spaces for thoughts that are of a different, darker vein.

Their interaction rings so true when you write it. Job well done, as per usual.

Join the club. I probably like Booth and Brennan a bit too much in general, but that's neither here nor there. ;)

He absolutely retains responsibility for that slip of the tongue. But de nile isn't just a river in Egypt. *g*

I'm glad you liked tha kitchen section. And the way you phrased it--that he's damned either way--is exactly how I thought of it.

Their interaction rings so true when you write it.

Your saying that leaves me with almost as good a feeling as I had when I watched the end of Santa in the Slush. :)

Thank you for making the effort to read and comment.

It’s so pretty and cute. I love it.

That was his Bones, he thought with a fond smile. Wait, whoa, no. Not his Bones. He shook his head. Not his anything. Not really. Well, his partner. But that was it. Right? Right.
Oh, my dear boy, admit it, you love her sooo much ;)

And I hope that Brennan will kiss Booth’s thumb in the next chapter. Please, please, please.

While I'd love to see that, too, I can't promise you anything. ;)

Thank you for reading and commenting! I hope you'll continue to enjoy this story.

Ah, ah ah - but she is HIS Bones, remember when they were celebrating Zack being hired? "We are, all of us, your Squints." She said it herself, so he has plenty of claim on her =)

Tee hee! It's so funny that you put the cooking in there. I have always thought that Booth would be someone who enjoyed cooking - that he would enjoy it because it's a way to show love to someone. I can totally see him as one of those people who thinks that cooking takes soul! I imagine Brennan would like it too, for different reasons; mostly that it's almost like chemistry, the way you have to put together exact measurements of things. I don't know if I really explained that very well, LOL! But I really liked this chapter =)

Hi, Chelley. You are absolutely right about that lovely line of dialogue. But for purposes of that moment in this story, Booth's trying his damndest to ignore the realizations that are slowly creeping in.

I have always thought that Booth would be someone who enjoyed cooking - that he would enjoy it because it's a way to show love to someone.

You explained it just fine! We're on the same wavelength about Booth and cooking and Brennan and cooking. The only reason I didn't mention that specific thing in his thoughts is because I didn't want to overdo it.

But I really liked this chapter =)

I'm glad that you did. Thank you! :)
