My friend from Israel is going through a very rough time. She recently left a terrible marriage, complete with mental and physical abuse.

Rape is common.

He should tell to the husband beat her since a real woman will defend herself easily in a fair fight. That would be equality.

No, if a woman is upset, find out why. Work it out. Talk it out. Communicate.

The advice is to bear it implies that there is no rhyme or reason to woman's complaints; and that there is no rational approach.

This "two wrongs make a right" thinking marks you as a salesman and not a philosopher. The ad hominem attacks also make it hard to take you seriously. You can never tackle an issue directly, can you, JS? You're far too lazy a thinker to be a philosopher.

I'm merely pointing out that although orthodox Jews aren't perfect, we seem to be better than the competition.

Of course none of this proves which religion is true or false.
