It's actually been my experience that Orthodox rabbis practice a sort of reverse discrimination when it comes to men. "Your wife screams all the time? Well of course, she's only a woman. You're the man. You've got to be strong. You've got to have patience. Suck it up."
why do you think that this is respectful and supportive of women?
this is pretty insulting, as it makes the woman in question an irredeemably hysterical & unbalanced.
