I'm so, so, SO pumped about my remaining 81 days in France. It's simply not enough. I thought it would be, but it's not! Unfortunately it's non-negotiable as I leave May 30 and have to begin taking summer classes at UK by June 11, which isn't enough time with my family after this big France thing... sigh. I am so jealous! :P I have been to London and various other places in England but never to France and I would LOVE to go to the South of France!

We might go to Edinburgh instead. Have you been there?

South of France is probably out of the question, sadly. It's just so darn expensive!

I HAVE been to Edinburgh, but that was in 2003. I loved it there and we stayed in the Castle Rock hostel which was pretty nice and right across the way from Edinburgh Castle. There are lots of fun sites to visit and esp the castles. Mary King's Close to in Old Town. I liked Old Town better than New Town because there were more historical things to visit.

Southern France is ok, if you're into that kind of thing. Very craggy and palm-tree-y etc. I didn't spend much time in London because I always went straight to Oxford, the most wonderful city ever.
