[Everyone being civil is the most mammoth task here. Somehow Ami seems to be in her element amid all the chaos: laughing, scolding, demonstrating, playing. It thrills the only child to have this finally, something she always longed for.
She actually smiles. She definitely seems more relaxed today than she's been at most times (at least, relaxed when not acting as an absolute tyrant about the study session), perhaps even appreciative.]
Their grades are improving. So this isn't wasted effort. [She... could really be more complimentary about it, still.]
They should work harder. [No one ever pampered her, after all. She lived under the pressure of that expectation to succeed, to live up to the genius name, to make the family proud.]
